Dr Sarah Wiseman

Sarah completed her PhD in Human Computer Interaction, focussing on the design safety of medical devices. After contributing research to industry white papers aimed at making medical devices safer, Sarah then worked on and published on the accessibility of technology in immersive theatre.

After a career lecturing and being a programme lead at a London University, Sarah moved to industry where she quickly became a Principal User Researcher with experience working on government projects, case management systems and identity verification.

Throughout this time, Sarah has maintained a public speaking career, sharing research insights in entertaining and novel ways to audiences from industry events, to festivals, to Science Museum lates.

Sarah has combined her extensive teaching experience within academia and her UX industry experience to provide training to companies looking to elevate the UCD knowledge of their teams to improve the products they make.
